People have been so sociable in a lot of ways, means, and spheres.
Everything begins on looking for a location where people mingle, share
the same interests, and hanging out with friends. With the creation of a
new dimension in the form of cyberspace, websites have been made as a
new location where individuals meet. Socializing has now stepped up into
a new level with social networking sites. And with Google+ soon to come
out in the open, how will it influence the current online social life
of so many people?
1. It’s all about you
Being sociable over the internet does not wait for the initiative of
others. You may have suggestions of what should be added or considered,
but it will give you the option of adding your friends with no need of
opening your email inboxes, but just having their email on the dot and
typing a message on the wall, directly inviting the individual while
sharing the message should be ideal.
2. Connecting with people becomes easier
When you gather your friends, it should be as simple as just inviting
them and become connected with them right away. After all, people will
delete the unknown person just in case they feel that the inviting
individual is a complete stranger.
3. You set your circle of influence
You have a bunch of friends, say about 50-100, and all of them have a
different connection established with you. Some are friends from
school, while others are hobby mates or distant relatives from a
particular country. Just locating them all in one place as friends can
be too messy and can sometimes become a hassle, not knowing how to reach
them easy. When you create your circle of influence, allocating them to
your preference seem to be a lot more convenient.
4. Hanging out should not be text
When you hangout as a group, it should not be so constraining as you
are too limited on what you are supposed to do, act, or even talk about
because everything is discussed via chatting, which may be helpful in
some way. Just like the old times, hanging out means seeing people face
to face to face, and sharing things like you are just meeting on a
coffee shop.
5. Sky is the limit
When you meet with friends and hang out with them meeting on a webcam
conference, you should not worry on how many people will join in. After
all, sky is the limit when it comes to taking time speaking with
friends and sharing friends with them. Google+ makes it possible to hang
out and go all the way, even with more than five friends on the cam at
the same time without lagging and making your computer hang. That is how
communication should be like.
6. Being spontaneous is bliss
Something that has been missing in the online world is the element of
surprise with simple things. In fact, due to security reasons, even the
most basic activities like adding someone on the camera chat needs
authorizations and other safety wahoos. There are hangouts where you
will never anticipate the coming of friends and other individuals along
the way. Google+ makes that element possible, where you do not even feel
bad about it with someone’s sudden appearance ruins the whole chat
groups experience.
7. Sharing photos should be fun and simple
With photos being one of the best means of sharing what is happening
in one’s life, making the process simple than it already is, would be a
great treat for everyone. Especially if the system of taking pictures
automatically uploads the photos and group or sort it on the personal
wall, removing the need of connecting the mobile phone to the PC or
laptop. Instant upload is the best way to go.
8. Your interest will be easily known by others
When you share your interest with other people, it should be as
articulate and as updated as possible, making others not just know what
you like, but knowing in a deeper and richer detail of what interests
you. It can be seen on your page easily, and not having you to connect
through another page for more information.
9. Interaction with friends knows no bounds
The world is already becoming a smaller place as we speak. We live in
an age where you can already have your cellular phone connected not
only with other phones but also on the internet with the help of 3G and
4G networks being implemented by mobile phone companies. In short, you
should be able to connect with friends even outside the usual computer
scene. Google+ Huddle feature makes Circles have some chatting on mobile
with no need to call each person and notify everyone.
10. What you like should be a plus for you
People have been too used with clicking the like button for the sake
of showing to the world that you actually like something what you have
seen online. However, the “like” will just be a snapshot of what you
have seen and nothing more. All of that idea changes in Google Plus
since the +1 will become more of an influence rather than a usual
addition on crowding the personal wall.
