to back up the whole registry.If a problem occurs, you
can then restore the registry to its previous state.In
this post i am telling you how to back up your registry
and how to restore your registry in few simple steps.
Instructions:
1.)Click Start and then click Run.
2.)In the Open box type regedit,and then click OK.
3.)A window will open,On the File menu,click Export.
4.)Now a Save in box will open,select the box at
the bottom the bottom according to weather you
want to export all or only selected branches of
the registry.
5.)Next select a location in which to save the backup
registry file.In the File name box,type a file
name whatever you like and then click Save.
How to Restore the Registry
To restore registry keys that you exported,you have
to simply double-click the .reg file that you saved.
Now your registry is restored.
