You
know a song that you keep hearing everywhere but you can't quite place?
Shazam can place it. Like, almost every time. It provides Unlimited
Tagging on Windows Phone and that too Free of cost. Shazam has rich
Graphical User Interface and its easy to use.
2) AMAZON KINDLE:
This
popular e-reader lets you bookmark pages, highlight key passages and
even capture marginalia. The Kindle Store stocks thousands of free
classics that will satisfy most Intro to Lit reading lists and also
sells e-textbooks. And don’t miss Amazon’s money-saving new textbook
rental option.
3) iHEARTradio:
iheartradio
was one of the launch applications for Windows Phone and it brings with
750 channels of radio listening pleasure. The application lets you
listen to radio stations from by Clear’s network of stations. You can
even create custom channels with your favorite stations. iheartradio
also integrates with Facebook, the Music and Video Hub, and the Zune
marketplace so you can share your music and buy new tracks via Zune.
4) FLIXTER:
This
is a complete movie themed app on the Windows Phone 7 Market Place.

releases, find local theaters and their show times; All on your Windows

5) COLORIZE:
Colorize
is a nifty coloring application that converts a photo to black &
white and lets you colorize sections of the image that you want to
highlight. You can choose different brush sizes and pinch to zoom to
color your image. The app is integrated into the pictures hub so your
newly created images have a prominent home on your phone. It also
supports unlimited undo and lets you save a project at any point in the
creative process.
6) ONE NOTE:
Taking class notes is easy with OneNote, which
comes pre-installed on every Windows Phone. Notes you take on your
phone can be uploaded to Windows Live SkyDrive and synched with Office
on your PC, so you can pick up where you left off.
7) IM+:
It's
expensive, but it's the best IM app on Windows Phone 7 and supports
AIM, Google Talk, Facebook, Skype, ICQ, Jabber, MySpace, and Yahoo.
There's push notification, the app is understated in design and decently
fast.
8) YouTube:
Easy
to use, simple and good UI. User can watch MOST-POPULAR , RECENTLY
VIEWED and TOP RATED. Its slightly better than the one available in
ANDROID.
9) SEESMIC:
The
Twitter application is developed to support the Metro UI of Windows
Phone. It is available for free in the MarketPlace and should be
included on your phone as the app for showing off the rich UI of Windows
Phone. It also segregates your different twitter and Facebook accounts
into different spaces/timelines.
10) HISTORY HERE:
History
Here is a location-based app developed by the History Channel. The app
displays historical points of interest and adds content from the History
Channel including essays, photos, and videos.
11) ANGRY BIRDS:
Yeah
it's not exactly brand spanking new but it's still as addictive as
ever. Angry Birds, launching birds to destroy pigs, is finally on
Windows Phone 7 and you don't really own a Smartphone until you've
played through this once.
12) GO VOICE:
The
best Google Voice app on Windows Phone. You can make phone calls, send
free texts and receive push notifications for incoming texts and
voicemails.
13) WONDER READER:
The
best Google Reader app on Windows Phone, Wonder Reader can be fully
customized to your liking (fonts, themes, options). It can share items
with your social networks and has a pretty neat Gallery view.
14) SLICE AND THROW:
I'm
not much of a mobile gamer, but Slice and Throw is seriously addicting.
The premise is similar to Fruit Ninja, you swipe on the display to cut
through an object (in Slice and Throw, the objects are Chinese scrolls);
however, this game has an added element. You also have to throw ninja
stars at objects in the background. It's a very fun game and the sound
effects are awesome.
15) Gmaps:
Maps
is a Google Maps app for Windows Phone that works as well as you'd
expect. This is the maps app you'd want. Best part is it's free.
16) IMDB:
IMDB
has all the movie information you could ever want, as well as trailers
for upcoming movies and showtimes for what's in theaters now. All a
movie buff would ever want.
17) WEATHERBUG:
Next
you can have either Weatherbug or the Weather Channel. I like to know
the weather of the place before hand, where I used to visit. It also has
the ability to show LIVE CAM VIDEOS.
18) THE HARVEST:
A
Sci-Fi Action RPG it looks like Dungeon Siege (or the lousier Space
Siege) on your phone. And that is great times for RPG fans.
19) THUMBA PHOTO EDITOR:
A
super solid photo editor for your pictures. There's more than 60
adjustments and effects, along with the basic crop, rotate, flip, and
resize. Basically, it can transform your crappy pics into amateur photo
tag status.
20) GROUP ME:
A
godsend of a group messaging app, GroupMe. The idea is simple: your
friends are grouped together via a phone number and when you text that
number it sends the message to everyone (with your name in front). Like a
SMS chat room.
