• By default mail alert is de-activated, you need to activate that service.
• Click on “Click here to activate”
• Now you will forwarded to a preferences page
• Enter the preferd time when you want to receive the mails from them

Click on continue and activate the service.

SECOND STEP

Forward mails to “your id”@way2sms.com”

· You can get your id( Complete way2sms mail id) by clicking on any one of the two links displayed below

• That is it , logon to your mail provider gmail or yahoo etc.
• Click on settings
• Look for forwarding tab/option

• To manage your channel, simply login and click on My Channels.

• You are done.

To search for a channel  SMS SEARCH <keyword(s)> to 9870807070. You’ll be sent up to 3 channels matching your keyword(s) over SMS. To see more channels, you can reply MORE <keyword(s)>

Subscribe to a Channel

Send an SMS ON <channel name> to 9870807070. <channel name> is the name of the channel.

Control Maximum Alerts and Timing

To specify the maximum number of messages along with the time interval when you wish to receive the alerts in a day, send an SMS PREF <maximum number of messages per day> <start time> <end time> to 9870807070. <start time> <end time> to be specified in hh:mm:am(or pm)format.

Unsubscribe

Now when you log out of your desktop Messenger, you will be automatically logged into your mobile device which you have set up. Any messages sent by your YAHOO friends will be forwarded to your mobile device and will be available in your phone’s SMS inbox. Reply to the SMS message, and your message will be sent back to your YAHOO friends.

This is very handy, till now not even single message was lost and SMS are delivered instantaneously. Again, there are NO charges to receive messages from friends. You will only incur charges if you reply to friend via receive message.

NOTE: If you want to change your mobile number at any time, You can edit your mobile settings on Yahoo messenger by clicking ‘Messenger’ -> ‘Preferences’ (or use Ctrl + Shift + P) Checkout settings at the bottom of the window.
