Google AdSense: PIN was not Received

john wants to use Google AdSense to make money and he happily start the process. He starts a blog, registers for  an AdSense account, gets approval from Google, creates ads, integrates ad code in his web pages and begins to show ads.
The next day when john logs into his AdSense account to see how much he has earned. First thing that might disheartens him is the figure of earning from previous day ($0.00 or may be $0.01) … On top of this, he finds a message from Google that their payment is on hold. Tension!
Even more tension comes in when john sees that the following message:
Your pages are displaying Public Service Advertisements (PSAs) because you haven’t yet verified your PIN and/or phone number. See the Payment History page for more details
But when john looks for details, he feels relieved because Google says that a PIN number has been mailed (not emailed) to him. The PIN number should be entered into the AdSense account for removing hold on payments and showing commercial ads.
Google plays this trick to verify Harry’s postal address (this is where john receive his pay cheques). However, as it happens with many people; postal mail containing the PIN number never arrives!
john logs into his AdSense account and asks for the PIN to be resent; and Google resends the PIN. Sometimes the elusive PIN still does not come. john can make up to three requests for PIN number. And sometimes, after all these requests, the PIN number… still does not come!
Now what john should do?
After you have tried all three attempts of receiving PIN from Google, and failed, don’t lose heart. The next step is to send Google a scanned copy of your ID using this form.
Your ID must show your postal address  and it must be same as the one that you have given to AdSense. The best ID to send is your Passport. Scan the first page and the last page (so that you can show your details, passport’s details and address details) and upload the file in the above given form.
Other valid IDs could be your bank statement, government ID, voter ID, telephone/electricity bill etc. The ID must show your name as well as the address.
If you do not have access to a scanner, you can take a good photo of your ID using your digital camera or mobile phone. Make sure that the relevant details are clearly visible in such camera photos.
Google’s staff will see your ID and verify your address. They take from one day to a couple of weeks to finish this process. Once they’ve verified your address, they will remove payment hold and will begin to show commercial ads on your website. You’ll get an email from AdSense team saying something like:
Thanks for your email. After verifying your ID proof, I am happy to let you know that I have manually overridden your PIN requirement and you won’t be required to enter another PIN for this account in the future.

ADSENSE ALTERNATIVES

Google’s terms and conditions are very strict such that many web publishers cannot use adsense adverts on their sites. They are either denied from joining the Google AdSense program in the first instance, or in a situation that is becoming more and more common do not wish to do business with Google. A number of publishers are also finding their Adsense accounts are being disabled for reasons that are completely beyond their control. The problem is that most of the alternatives to Google’s Adsense are pretty useless. Most of the good ones (such as doubleclick) are only interested in very large volume customers and so are not interested in the little guy with his blog who wants to earn a small income on the side.

Get Google Adsense Account Approval in 1 day

I don’t understand why everyone makes Adsense out to sound like some kind of devil. So far, I have a 100% approval rate for my consulting clients. You would think that we spend months developing the site to submit for approval – but to be honest; I spend less than a day (if that!)

What we found is that Google is not nearly as picky as they make themselves sound to be. The trick is to make your site in such a way that you are just providing content; we have found that the less selling you do on your approval site, the better.
Don’t worry, once you’re approved you can use that code wherever you want – so put it on other sites that sell later. But for the purposes of getting approved, try to limit to just content, content and more content!
Now, for the disclaimer before we start talking about how to get your site approved for Google Adsense. I am not a member of Google at all, everything I am about to say is all speculation and experience. I have helped over 50 clients get approved for Google Adsense without having even 1 of them not get approved – we have 100% approval rate on FIRST try.
All I am going to teach you is exactly what I do for them.
There are three main elements that I focus on when getting a client approved:
1.Site look and feel – Not that Google wants a $10,000 professionally designed website, but they also don’t want some piece of junk. Make sure to at LEAST have a presentable website – even if it is just a few tables and a solid background color. Avoid using tacky backgrounds or unprofessional color contrasts.
2.Content – The most important – Google believes in content. If you try to get a website with just a few pages approved, I don’t think you will have any luck. You need to have at least 15-20 pages, preferably, 15-20 pages of articles/resources, a.k.a. content.
3.Traffic – Many “experts” say that Google looks to see what kind of traffic you have and that they do not approve new sites with no traffic. My experience says that these experts are FULL of it. BUT, just to be safe, before you submit your site for approval – try to get your site some traffic.
Here are useful tips you need to make the entire approval process easier and quicker:
>> Get content from article directories like www.goarticles.com – just put those articles in your site, getting 15-20 is easy.
>> Before you submit your site for approval, post at some forums with your website’s link in the signature file – this will help you get some immediate traffic.
>> Make a very simple website with 15-20 articles, a contact us page, a privacy policy and the typical disclaimer.
That’s it – you’re ready to get approved for Google Adsense. I know I made it sound too easy, but honestly, we have a track record that proves it. And remember, if you do not get approved, you can always fix things and try again.
So, stop waiting – apply now – Google Adsense is a great source of income.

Best Alternative to Google Adsense -Earn More Money!

Kontera, is an ad-network which we are using from  in july 2009. It was second ad-network I signed up for! Of course the first was Google Adsense as in most cases. And after trying many ad networks, coincidently Kontera turn out to be our second major source of income.
Kontera ads are unique in the sense that they links keywords in content to relevant ads at runtime using javascript. Links are double-underlined to stand-out differently from normal links. And as all links are generated by javascript, there is no risk involved of search-engine penalty as with text link ads.

Here are thing that are best about…
  • Easier to use than Google Adsense.

Most Wanted Tips For Increasing Google Adsense Income

Take good attention on this post if you really serious in Adsense business.
Ad Location:
“The middle, above the fold location perform best.” Besides, if you have an article page with a long body of text, the bottom of that article is actually pretty successful.
Ad Format:
The top three formats are large rectangle 336×280, 300×250 medium rectangle; and 160×600 wide skyscraper. Additionally, wider ads formats are doing better than the other ones and the reason is that they actually take up fewer lines. With every additional line, you have a chance of losing that interested user. This means that Ads with fewer lines have higher success.
Ad Color:
Pick ad colors that BLEND well with the design of your site. Matches the background color and compliments the site. Make them feel like a part of the site. They give an example where a customer went from blended background to yellow, and clicks dropped 65%. This is what I always stress a lot. PAY MORE ATTENTION!!!
Ad Blindness:
Try not to make the colors stick out too much, readers may immediately identify them as Ad and NOT even look at them. Also frequent readers may stop reading Ad, so you could alternate positioning and colors to get their attention. The more you BLEND Ad in with the site, the less chance that ad blindness will occur.
Experiment:
This was a big theme in the webinar echoed by all experts. Use channels to test different ad position and ad format to find out which works best. They show that you can more than double your revenue just by finding the right color, position, format combo.
Image Ad:
If you want to maximize revenue they recommend turning them on. I personally disable them because according to other reports, Text Ad work better than Image Ad. Image Ad seem like you are telling user “I’m an Ad”. So, it is NOT GOOD. You may increase your CPC, but you will probably decrease impressions over time.
Link Unit:
Don’t take up much space, and allows the user to refine what they’re interested in. So if they may not be interested in specific ads on your page, they might be interested in a particular topic, and by clicking on a link unit and a link in the link unit, they’ll be able to specify that they’re interested in that specific topic and get a lot more options and variety on the ads that might appear.
AdSense for Search:
You can use this for your site search, and you get a percentage of ad clicks.
Focus on Content:
Yeap… Another important part is to focus on your contents. Adsense will index your site and find the keywords of your posts. Then, suitable Ad that suit your post will appear.
Don’t click on your own ads:
NEVER CLICK your own ad. That is too risky because if Google finds out, your account will be terminated and you will be banned from applying Adsense FOREVER.
Impression Counter:
Google confirmed that Page Impressions are counted when a public service ad (or alternate ad url or color) is displayed.
Your site is unique:
All these things may not matter, the best location, format, and color is different for every site. So again, go experiment.
Try different design of Ads for your site and use all the details here properly.

Top 5 Reasons for your Google Adsense Failure

Most of friends and publisher are very much attractive towards adsense money.i m also not a exceptional in it.With adsense PPC program. They think it would be easy to have a decent income from it. But as the time goes by, most of them think that it’s not that easy to make money with AdSense.
Some of them even thought that AdSense is just a scam program. Well, that was a little example about how difficult earning money in Adsense.
But, many of you have not discovered yet why we failled in adsense.First i realized the same situation but after modifying my view towards google adsense and seo , i feel success in this field.
So, Finally I realized following major Top 5 Reasons for your Google Adsense Failure which failles publisher in Google Adsense programme.
Check reasons and if you know any reason Don’t forget to share with us. write reasons  by comment below.
1. Failing to understand that It is not get rich quick scheme – This is the single most biggest reason why people fail in adsense. People think it is get rich quick method where you can make instant money in matter of months but it is not. Infact very good number of people don’t even make it $100 after months.
2. Gives too much value and time on SEO and Link Building – Lot of people spend time in building backlinks and exploring SEO and all kind of stuff which don’t help them staying focused. I don’t think learning SEO and doing link building helps beginners to make money from adsense, just stick to basic and write quality content.
3. Do not put quality content – Instead of putting useful quality content, people starts copying content from everywhere or start posting poor quality articles, this kind of content don’t take the site very far in organic traffic and eventually the person quits.
4. Not being consistent enough – I had talked about Consistency in second point, this is very important, you can’t make money in any business unless you are not consistent enough. You need to keep on doing same over months after months, and only then you will see the results. If you keeps on quitting after few months, you won’t find yourself reaching very far from where you had started.
5. Uses wrong methods and eventually gets banned – People who work unethically and don’t know what they are doing, they are surely on the way to failure in adsense. Involving in click fraud, automated traffic generation, giving away warez and not following google adsense TOS will most likely result in ban, eventually putting all your effort into vein. Well, it was an eye-opening opinion right? At least it was for me. Especially the second Reason.
He said that lot of people only focused on SEO thing, and they do not even focused on writing a good content. Personally, Building SEO of your webpage/weblog is as important as building quality content, but keep in mind that you have to be focused on both stuffs. If you feel it’s hard to implement, try to do the basic first like write quality content, not copy pasting other’s article to your blog.

But here’s the amazing thing – no matter how much money AdSense is making for you right now, a few simple tweaks can increase that amount considerably. And I should know, after learning about these tricks, I more than doubled my AdSense commissions! also there are mistakes that publisher do check Top 5 Reasons for Low Adsense Income
The self-proclaimed AdSense gurus and experts are sharing this insider knowledge, for a fee. You can learn all these secrets from them, as long as you buy their e-book, sign up for their seminar or purchase their newsletter.

But I’m going to share all their AdSense tricks for free. Here they are:
1) Color code your ads to match your web site palette *exactly*. Don’t use frames around your ads. Instead, in the AdSense code generation interface, make sure you choose the same color as your page background for the ad frame and the ad background.
When choosing the ad heading colors, match them to the *exact* color of your page headings. Use the exact same ad background shade as your page background. Use the exact same ad text font and color as the text on your pages. You can see an example of this color-matching on my search engine advice blog notice the 4 link ad unit and skyscraper text ad unit on the left hand side under the headings Ads by Google as you scroll down the page? The link and text colors are identical to the color palette used throughout the rest of the page.
Near enough is NOT good enough. If you can’t quite get the color matching right, use Google’s built in color palette together with the RGB to HEX or vice versa color converter on this page. That handy little tool was a life saver for me.
This is probably the one single tweak that made the most difference to my commission levels.

2) Try not to use the traditional horizontal banner style or leaderboard image ads because people are blind to them.

3) Use Google’s own AdSense optimization tips and visual heat map to assist you in deciding where on your page to place your AdSense ad code.

4) Research competitive keywords using a keyword research tool such as Keyword Discovery or grab a list of the most popular keywords from various sources and use them in your web site pages where relevant. This article is a good source of frequently searched keywords. Targeting popular keywords should trigger AdSense ads on your pages that utilize those keywords. The more popular the keyword or phrase, the higher AdWords advertisers are generally willing to pay per click for it so the higher your commission on those clicks.

5) Incorporate the AdSense code into your page so that the ads look like a regular part of your site. You can see an example of this on the Internet Dating Stories site where link ads are incorporated within the regular left hand navigation of the site under the heading “Feature Links”.

6) Use Google’s new 4 and 5 link ad units wherever possible. They seem to have a much higher Click Through Rate (CTR) than regular ad styles. You can view all the AdSense ad formats here.

7) Place arrows or images next to your ads to draw attention to them. You can see two different versions of on this search engine article library page at the top (where a pointing hand directs your eye to the ad) and the bottom where 3 images draw your attention to each of the three AdSense ads.

8) Use the full allowance of multiple AdSense ads on each of your pages – 3 regular AdSense ads, plus 1 link unit. Use careful placement of these ads so they blend into your site and don’t distract from your content. Clever use of this allowance can be seen on this page about bad Internet dating stories where you see:
- 1 horizontal 4 link ad unit towards the top of the page under the first paragraph
- 1 vertical skyscraper text ad unit about halfway down the left hand side under “Sponsor Links”
- 1 vertical skyscraper image ad unit down the left hand side under “Sponsor Links”
- 1 horizontal text banner unit at the bottom of the page with images above each ad to draw attention to them.
You can also include 1 AdSense referral button in addition to the 3 other units.
9) Tailor your page content to a particular niche or focus. Page content that is tailored towards a specific theme is more likely to trigger AdWords ads that closely match the content and are therefore more likely to interest your visitors and inspire them to click. Don’t create pages merely for the sake of placing AdSense ads. Visitors (and search engines) can see through this ruse in an instant.
10) Use custom Ad Channels for each of your ad placements, for example, “Top 5 Link Unit Blue Palette” or “Left Side Navigation Image Skyscraper” etc. Tweak, track and measure the success of each of these custom channels so you know what gives you the highest CTR. Some ad formats and colors will work better than others, but you won’t know which until you test, test and test some more!
So, I hope This tricks will surely help you for Increasing Google Adsense Income.
