How to Delete Autorun.inf Virus By using Winrar

Hi friends! After giving you many tricks to tweak yoursystem, now we are giving you a trick so that you can  escape your computer from a very dangerous virus named Autorun.inf. This action needs no antivirus or any precious software. It just needs a simple software Winrar by which you can simply delete this virus. First of all you should that how can you know that your PC is affected by this virus? If you are opening any drive or folder, and instead of opening in the same window it opens in the another window then guaranteed your computer is affected by this virus.

     

Follow these steps to remove it—

•         First disable CD/DVD or USB autorun in windows.
•         Open your winrar.
•         Open the drive which is infected by the virus by choosing from the right-corner.

•         Here, you will see all the hidden files under winrar of that drive.
•         Look for the autorun.inf file and open it with notepad.
•         In that Autorun file, some .EXE file will be mentioned that will be executed along with the autorun file. This exe file is the main culprit.

•         Note the exe file mentioned in the Autorun.inf file. Close this Autorun.inf file.
•         Now, look for that .Exe file in the drive and delete that .exe file along with the autorun.inf
•         Restart your operating system and now your free with the boundation of that virus to open your drive in another window.
•         Repeat this process for USB or Pendrives to remove this virus.

• Now click on the "Advanced" and Go to the "Owner" Tab.

• Click on the "Edit" Button,and select your user name from the "Change Owner to" section.
• Now Click on "Apply" button.It will ask for Confirmation,Just Click on "OK" button.
• Now close the Dialog box and go back to "Security" tab of Properties window.
• Click on your User name from the "Group or user names" section
• Now in the new window,select your User name and click on the "Allow" box for "Full Control" option.

• After doing that click on "Apply" and it will ask for confirmation,Simply say "Yes"
• Now you can do,what ever you want with this file or folder,because now you are it's owner..
