(Fix) EXE Files are not Opening Correctly or Always Open with Notepad or other Applications

If you are using Windows,then it had been happened anytime that,when you double click on any .exe file than it use to open with,Notepad or any other Applications or sometime it simply opens the Openwith dialog box.
If you are facing any of the above problem,then here is a small registry tweak,which is the solutions for your Problem.

How to Solve the Problem,when .exe files cannot be open correctly

• Press the "Win+R" key to Open the Run Command
• Now type below command to open up the registry editing application.

regedit

• Note: If you have any problem in opening! Registry editing then Read How to Enable Registry Editing
• Now go into the following key in the Registry Editing.

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe

• Now in Right side pan,Double click on the (Default),now change the value data to exefile

• Now Go to the following key in Registry editing,

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shell\open\command

• Now in Right side pan,Double click on the (Default),now change the value to :-

"%1" %*

• Just Exit the window and restart your PC,you are done.
