How to Run Windows 8 Metro Applications on Small Screen PC or notebooks
- Click the "Win+R" key to open Run command box.
- Now in the Run command box type regedit
- Now you will see Registry editing window.Press "Ctrl+F" key.
- Now type below text in the "Find" box
display1_downscalingsupported
- Don't forget to click on "Match whole String only" option in the "Find" box.
- Double click on the display1_downscalingsupported and changes it's value from 0 to 1
- Please note: If you are finding more than one results,then modify them all to value 1.
- Now Close Registry Editing window and restart your PC.
- Now go on the Screen Resolution option,by right clicking anywhere on the desktop and after that choose screen resolution.
- You will see the option for 1024 x 768 Screen resolution.
- Select that and Apply the settings.Your Windows 8 Metro Apps will now able to run.
