Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook, changed his marital
status on Facebook from single to married. Zuckerberg, who is turning 28
years tomorrow, married his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan
yesterday.

This fortnight has been quite an exciting one for Zuckerberg.
On 18th May, Facebook’s shares began trading in public, on 19th May he
married his girlfriend and on 21st May he will celebrate his 28th
birthday!
Zuckerberg organized a surprise ceremony in the backyard of his home
in Palo Alto, California. The ceremony was guised as a celebration for
Chan’s medical school graduation –but in reality it was wedding
ceremony. Priscilla Chan has received a doctorate degree. About 100
guests were invited to the ceremony.
Although Zuckerberg is one of the richest persons in the world, he chose to give Chan a wedding ring made of simple ruby. He, however, designed the ring himself. Zuckerberg holds 56 percent shares of Facebook.
