We know that its SMART ERA......each n every individual has (or going to have) a SMARTPHONE........:)

There are many OPTIONS that a person may choose from, while selecting his SMARTPHONE like iOS, ANDROID, WINDOWS PHONE, BLACKBERRY OS, PALM OS, SYMBIAN....

In this article we'll talk about the TWO MOST POPULAR and DEMANDING operating systems developed for smartphones. Yes, I am talking about APPLE iOS and ANDROID.

Apple iOS and Android are OS developed by APPLE and GOOGLE respectively, for smartphones, pads and tablets. ANDROID was developed by ANDROID. It is based on LINUX. GOOGLE bought it in 2005. APPLE iOS was first released in 2007.



THE ADVANTAGE THAT ONE MAY GET IN ANDROID IS THAT THEY CAN CUSTOMIZE IT AS THEY LIKE AND CAN RUN IT ON ANY DEVICE.

Android is developed by ANDROID. GOOGLE bought Android in 2005.

Actually, Android is developed from the Linux Kernel. Latest version of Android is Honeycomb(Android 3.0), which is specifically developed for TABLETS. Next version of Android is Icecream.

Yes guys, you got it right, Android provides multitasking but let me tell you it lacks swift SWITCHING as that of iPHONE....:(

The new Android version includes 3D transition , Youtube is also redesigned for 3D view, Google maps also have 3D integration.

You can customize yor HOME SCREEN according to your own will.

d)SNCS:

Android supports SOCIAL NETWORK CONTACT SYNC whereas Apple iOS is not.

e)Compatible Devices:

Android could be installed on any hardware, which is not the case with APPLE iOS.
