System Requirements for Installing Windows 8 Consumer Preview

Below are the system requirements,which you PC should fulfill to use Windows 8 Consumer Preview OS.
Generally if your System supports Windows 7 or Windows Vista,then it will also support Windows 8.

Windows 8 Minimum System Requirements

1. Minimum RAM:- 1GB for (32-Bit) and 2GB for (64-Bit)
2. Minimum Processor:- 1GigaHertz(GHz) or faster 32-Bit or 64 Bit
3. 16GB Available hard disk Space for 32-Bit and 20 GB Available Hard Disk Space for 64-Bit PC's
4. DirectX 9 Graphics Device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver.
5. To Correctly run Windows 8 Metro Applications,you should have minimum 1024 X 768 or greater Screen Resolution
6. To Snap Applications,you should have at-least 1366 X 768 of Screen Resolution
7. If your Screen supports Multi-touch,then you can Use best Windows 8 UI.
