The Merits and Demerits of Installing Windows 8 as your Default OS

Recently, Microsoft had released the new Windows 8 developer preview and then after that The Windows 8 Consumer Preview and now it is going to launch the Windows 8 final version. Many of us are using the Windows developer or Consumer preview but sometimes you think that should I install Windows 8 as my Stable Operating System or not? Seeing that we thought to share an article on Merits and Demerits of installing Windows 8. After knowing about all its good and bad features, you will be able to decide that whether to install it or not.

        Friends, there are many new features which are very good and effective to the users in Windows 8 but many of them could not satisfy the users. So, let’s know about them. The some of the new features in Windows 8 are—

• The new protected and safe picture password which gives professional effect to the user’s PC.
• The In-built apps which is much attract-full.
• The In-built video, audio player and PDF reader.
• New copy tool copies the data fastly and shows graphical representation.

• The new ‘Charm-Bar’, makes you task easy and fast.

• The new Switch-List and Utility Settings Menu, etc. are some of the interesting features of windows 8.

• The navigation Speed is not much fast. It is quiet slow for low memory Computers.
• Sometimes you will feel problem, because it has no Start Menu.
• As it is an Evaluation Copy, So you will get some bugs while using it.
• If you are using Small Screen PC’s or laptops then you will feel problem with the new Explorer Ribbon UI.
• And many other minutes demerits.
